[Ford RS Image]

This www.turbocharger.co.uk Web site is being continually improved, and is always looking for new and interesting articles for inclusion. We are always looking for new fixes/technical upgrade methods/tuning information or just general Ford RS and Cosworth experiences. So if you have an interesting story or can write a short technical description of any of the cars listed then get in touch. Links to other relevant pages are also welcome and will normally be included if they meet our standards and approval.

Credits

Many thanks to Ford UK, Cosworth and Garrett for their invaluable support and information.

Thanks also to Mark Barlow for technical input and the only person I know who has totalled (crashed) one MK2 Escort Mexico and two MK2 Escort RS2000's. Also owned and polished a very smart MK3 Escort RS Turbo Series 1 that was used daily.

Special thanks to Dan Peever at Brooklyn Ford , Redditch for parts assistance with my RST and for the laughs in his Series 1. Also to Tony Ashcroft of Orrell, Wigan, for his mechanical knowledge and enthusiasm.

Thanks also to Simon Barlow who I raced continually in my black MK4 Escort RS Turbo Series 2 against his Vauxhall Astra SRi. Watch out for those petrol station exits Simon!

Thanks also to Simon Clark for his MK5 Escort RS2000 4WD images and the laughs at Castle Combe.

Special thanks to Neil Robinson who supplied the RS1600 MK1 pictures. Thanks to Paul Larner for the Last RS info and pictures of P721LUY.

Some photographs taken at North West RS Owners Club Towneley Park, Burnley Meeting 7th July 1996. Others taken at the RSOC National Day at Donington Park 26th July 1998. Some from the ever brilliant Ford Fair at Charlbury Park, Oxfordshire, 2nd August 1998. Others taken from the authors personal archive.

More details on the history of the site can be found here.
