Engine:
- Engine re-bored by 0.5 mm
- New pistons and ring set
- Pistons machined by 60 thou to give compression ratio of 7.75:1
- Exchange original crankshaft

- Garrett TO3 Turbocharger machined to accept Sierra Cosworth compressor wheel with 55 trim and 48 trim exhaust with modified exhaust housing
- TurboBoost 16psi turbo alloy wastegate actuator
- Pace intercooler with modified front bumper to allow greater air flow
- K+N 57i cone air filter
- Magnex 3 inch stainless exhaust
- Measured flywheel output of 199.5 bhp at 6900rpm running 16psi of boost pressure.
Measured on dynonometer compensated for standard air temperature and pressure.
This is a reliable and track proven power output.
Using 19psi of boost power outputs greater than 225bhp have been measured.
For multi-circuit track use the boost is set to 16psi for sprints and drag tests it is set to 19psi.
Engine Management:
- Ahmed Bayjoo Motorola ECU microprocessor for ignition and boost control
- Ahmed Bayjoo Bosch ECU microprocessor for KE-Jetronic fuelling control
- Mechanical modifications to the KE-Jetronic injection system
- Rev limiter set to 7000rpm
- Modifications to the ports on the boost control (Amal) valve
- Charge carrier pressure feed pipe to fuel regulator to improve high boost fuelling
Brakes and Suspension:
- Front and rear Spax top adjustable dampers with Spax springs
- Polyurethane bushes on front TCA's and anti-roll bar
- Complete set of Powerflex polyurethane bushes on the rear
- 282mm vented and cross drilled front brake disks
- Mintex M1144 front brake pads
- Goodridge stainless steel braided brake hoses all round
- Castrol DOT 4 brake fluid
- Steering rack raised by 20 mm to reduce bump understeer
- ABS removed
